Chennai Central erstwhile Madras Central , is the main railway terminus in Chennai(Madras). It is the home of the Southern Railway and the most important rail hub in South India. Madras Central was built in 1873 at Parktown.

The chennai rickshaw once a main mode of public transport and a symbol of hardship and the working class. Now you do not get to see a lot of these on the roads. This one was also all battered and looking like an antique on the road.
